I'm technically always open for commissions. I'm not offering to do any trades, because you will end up waiting forever for my part. I don't do requests, sorry. How to Commission Me • Send me a devious note. • e-mail me at [ contact @ chanceparkerart .com ] + Please do not comment with details here, since I do not want anything accidentally deleted. + When you make your request, specify any and all details you want included in your commission.  What I Do: Mediums • For 2D work, I use pencil/pen and/or Photoshop (digital painting). • I modify/paint/bleach clothing. You can see many examples of this kind of work here. Several of those pieces are for sale. If you are interested in purchasing anything already made, also note/e-mail me about it. Clothing commissions are slightly more complicated than 2D, so we'll chat about it.  What I Won't Do: Mediums • I cannot paint on canvas, simply because of shipping challenges. Unless you want to dish out big bucks for the supplies and shipping, sorry, but no. • Please no requests for markers or pastels. I suck at both. • I cannot make entirely-new pieces of clothing. I can only take existing clothing and "modify."  What I Do: Subject Matter • Check my gallery! • Fantasy, macabre, and sci-fi are specialty areas. • Both illustration and design, from portraits to landscapes to avatars. • Animals, creatures, anthros, and people are all acceptable. • Gore is totally acceptable. • Original characters and fanart alike. • Any sexual orientation, I honestly don't care.   What I Won't Do: Subject Matter • Porn, anything sexually graphic. (If you have a question about where the line is, ask me.) • Mechas (intense mechanical drawing). • Chibi. (OH GOD NO)  Payment Information • Paypal, in USD. • If you absolutely cannot use Paypal, we'll work something out. • For most 2D commissions, I will ask for half the payment after you approve my initial sketch (and e-mail it to you for approval), then the rest after I complete the commission. • For Clothing commissions, I will ask for the base cost of the article of clothing after buying it (or skip this step if you supply your own), then when I finish it, the cost of the shipping + commission. Misc. Information • I have the right to refuse any commission. • You're not allowed to use my art for your profit, or claim it as your own work. This is emphasized in the C.A. • I will ask you permission to upload the artwork/clothing onto dA and my website. Please say yes.  • Two extra fees will be added if you want your commission to be printed and shipped. 2D Price Estimates  These prices are just estimates for one subject. Of course you can have more than one character in the commission. Each commission will have its own special quote, right down to the single-dollar. As always, you get what you pay for, and if anything, more. Of course, the older "examples" sometimes lack in quality, since I've improved since I've made them... if you see high-priced crap, it's just an example of the technique.  Lingo:• bust - from head to end of torso • 3/4 - from head to mid thighs or knees (or mid-body for critters) • full - from head to toe Sketches pencil/pen with minimum-intensive shading + digital color for background only sketch quality• $5 - Bust or 3/4, two-tone color background • $10 - Full, two-tone color background Colored Drawings pencil/pen lines + digital color regular quality• $20 - Bust or 3/4, graphic/minimal background [link] • $25 - Full, graphic/minimal background [link] [link] pencil/pen lines and shading + digital color higher-than-regular quality• $25 - Bust or 3/4, graphic/minimal background [link] • $30 - Full, graphic/minimal background • $40 - $60 - Bust or 3/4, full background • $60 - $80 - Full, full background Drawings pencil, full shading and texture no color highest quality ( [link] )• $15 - Bust or 3/4, no background • $25 - Full, no background • $40 - $60 - Bust or 3/4, full background • $60 - $80 - Full, full background Digital Paintings minimal or zero pencil/pen lines digital everything highest quality• $30 - Bust or 3/4, minimal background [link] • $40 - Full, minimal background [link] • $40 - $60 - Bust or 3/4, full background • $60 - $80 - Full, full background [link] [link] [link] Clothing Price Estimates Prices for clothing modification vary greatly. In general, the minimum commission cost is $20, and can range from there to $60+, depending on how much modification is made, how large the graphic/painting is, how much of the supplies are used, etc. Just about everything in my gallery now would be about a $20-$35 commission cost (bear in mind that there are substantial costs with clothing commissions, this "cost" is just my profit.) And finally... If I accept your commission, you must agree to (digitally sign)...  The Commission Agreement (as of Nov 2008) I, __________ ("the Commissioner"), agree with the following terms and obligations set by Chance Parker Art ("CPA" or "the Artist") regarding my commission ("the Artwork/Clothing"): • The Commissioner has the right to cancel the commission at any time. • The Commissioner agrees not to claim the Artwork/Clothing as his/her own. • The Commissioner agrees not to resell, redistribute, reproduce, or alter any Artwork in any way or through any medium. • The Commissioner agrees not to resell, redistribute, or reproduce any Clothing in any way or through any medium. • The Commissioner agrees to make all payments to the Artist in a timely manner, including the base fee for any Clothing that must be purchased, the cost of the Artist's commission, the cost of the prints when applicable, and the cost of all shipping where applicable. If the Artist has already paid for the base cost of the clothing to be used, this base fee must be paid by the Commissioner even if the Commissioner wishes to cancel the commission. • The Commissioner recognizes that if he/she chooses to cancel the commission, the Artwork/Clothing will become the property of the Artist. • The title of ownership passes from the Artist to the Commissioner upon the Commissioner's full payment of the Artist's fee. • The content of the commission (the art itself) remains copyrighted to the Artist. • The Commissioner recognizes that any failure to comply to these terms after signing this Agreement may result in blacklisting, legal action, or other prosecution. ---------------------------- Is there anything I'm missing/anything you want to know?
