This piece didn’t meet my expectations. It far exceeded them.

It’s simply amazing what you can do with shadows and highlights, Chance. Simply amazing.
I absolutely adore the details (will there be a deviation with detailed shots from this? I’d like to see one). The amount of time you’ve spent on this really shows, man. It’s refreshing to see something that’s this well thought-out.

Things that catch my eye:
The center subjects’ wings and contrast in shade with the rest of the image.
The detailed shading in the different textures on the lower part of the image.
The many eye-grabbing focal centers that you have. And while the image has a lot of them, it’s not overly-busy and distracting. Excellent balance.

All the work you’ve put into this really shows, girl. Fucking fantastic!
